JEWELS are printed in GOLD

Happy to have been awarded the first prize in the Manufacturer category with my ZIGZAG bracelet.

The awards ceremony took place at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris ( MAD) on Thursday, November 25, 2021

This ZIGZAG bracelet, weighing 100 g, both sober and complex, is made of 130 gold bricks, staggered and connected by 260 joints. This design allows the creation of a jewel that is totally reversible, with great fluidity, similar to that of a chainmail. Each side of the bracelet presents a random alternation of angled bricks, decorated with facets both raw and polished in order to diffract light in many directions.

The Francéclat competition (March 2021)

"Francéclat" launched in March 2021 the competition Jewels printed in gold.

The challenge: to propose an original creation achievable by the only additive manufacturing in precious metal. By respecting the rules and referring to technical guide proposed by "Francéclat"

62 files were submitted, 7 projects were selected by the jury and are being produced by "Francéclat". The 7 final jewels will be presented to the jury, on November 25th, which will designate 3 winners (manufacturers, designers and students categories) that we look forward to presenting to you. The jury is composed of: the President Valérie Messika , CEO and founder of Maison Messika as well as Sylvie Adigard, producer, journalist and columnist, trend, design, lifestyle; Anne Asensio, Design Director Dassault System; Ludovic Blanquer, Creative Director of "Franceclat"; Francis Chauveau, Industrial Director of Maison Hermès; Didier Roux, President of Francexplosion and Paola Valentini, winner of the first edition of the contest in the Designer category and our sponsors: Cookson-CLAL, SISMA S.p.A. and Technocast (Marc Salti).
